Demand Works and AdapChain announced a partnership to deliver rapid ROI demand and supply chain solutions to companies using SAP's enterprise software. Together, the two companies will offer a “Forecast with SAP in a Day” solution involving the Demand Works Smoothie™ pivot forecasting software and AdapChain's AdapLink™ integration software. Plans are to release the new combined offering in Late-November, 2006.

The combined solution will include batch and interactive statistical forecasting, real-time multi-dimensional forecast synchronization, and configured integration of SAP product and demand information, all in a single day. The resulting solution is a powerful alternative to spreadsheet-based planning which is common among businesses of all sizes. It also complements enterprise sales and operations planning (S&OP) solutions such as SAP's APO.
