Installation¶
Installing AdapLink Service¶
Run the AdapLink Service setup file:
By default the service installation directory is C:\AdapChain\AdapLink <version number> service\. So if the installed version is 5.0.5 the default install directory will be C:\AdapChain\AdapLink 5.0.5 service\.
In this documentation ${AdapLink-Service} refers to the service installation directory.
Install license manually¶
License Install Location: $AdapLink-Service\com.adaplink.service\WEB-INF\license\
Copy both neolicense.syscode and neoLicense$$$$$_$$$$$$$$$$$$$.license files into the above license install location.
These files will be available as attachments inside the email sent by license@adapchain.com.
Creating ALDH and SAPSTAGING databases¶
By default AdapLink is bundled with the following database structures:
- aldh
- sapstaging
The above databases can be generated and configured based on the project requirement. To generate these databases, execute the bundled scripts changing the database names (e.g. aldh_xyz and sapstaging_xyz). Thus at a time there can be multiple aldh and sapstaging existing in the same database server.
Following are the changes that need to be made in the scripts:
- Change the database names in both the scripts
- Change the aldh script where it refers to sapstaging database while creating the stored procedure updateMatHeaderDescriptionFromMAKT
Proceed to Configuration section to configure AdapLink Service.

By default the client installation directory is C:\AdapChain\AdapLink <version number> client\. So if the installed version is 5.0.5 the default install directory will be C:\AdapChain\AdapLink 5.0.5 client\.
