RemoteFileSync (.rsync)
Using RemoteFileSync application in AdapLink Client, the user can upload and download files from AdapLink service.
Security permissions have been built into RemoteFileSync application to make sure uploading / downloading files
does not compromise sensitive client related information.
In order to use RemoteFileSync application in AdapLink Client:
- Users should have sufficient permissions to upload / download files and folders.
- And, the Users in consultation with AdapLink Config Users will provide the list of folders / files before hand for upload and download respectively.
- AdapLink Config Users will then configure the permissions accordingly in RemoteFileSync configuration accordingly.
By default users will have permissions to download logs / template shortcuts from the following folders:

Click on the RemoteFileSync application in the ‘Navigation’ window.
Using RemoteFileSync application
The RemoteFileSync application, as shown in the screen-shot below .
The RemoteFileSync application has mainly 2 features
- Download Option is where users can download folders / files from service to client.
- Upload Option is where users can upload folders / files from client to service.
