Install Process Exection ApplicationΒΆ
Installation of a new or modified process Exection application is quite easy but does require access to the server where the AdapLink service is installed.
Since AdapLink version 5.4 the shortcuts, folders and applications stored in the \AdapChain\AdapLink x.x.x service\acconfig\template_shortcuts folder on the AdapLink server have automatically been synchronized with the AdapLink clients whenever a client connects. To bring a new or modified process exection application (or other file or folders) into the AdapLink client simply copy it to the appropriate location under \AdapChain\AdapLink x.x.x service\acconfig\template_shortcuts on the server and have users close, restart and reconnect their clients.
To verify that the installation was successful close and reopen your adaplink client, logon to the service and check whether the new or modified application is correctly synchronized to the client and works correctly when launched.
