The data management and systems integration space is not an easy space in which to work, especially when the bar is raised as high as AdapChain’s. As a result, AdapChain does not offer any easy jobs. In fact, AdapChain may be one of the most selective employers around. We don’t look for narrow skill-sets that happen to match current needs. Instead we focus on the long term for our growing business.

When we look at our long term needs, we see many requirements for resources with strengths in most or all of the following areas:

• Expertise with business systems like ERP, SCM, CRM, BI, etc.
• Strength in mathematics, statistics or data analytics.
• Experience with methodologies like 6-sigma and lean.
• Strong English communication skills – both written and spoken.
• Experience with development and/or implementation of business systems.
• Application development expertise. We primarily use Java.

While our requirements related to the candidate’s skills are important, they are only part of what we look for when we evaluate candidates. As important as skills are, the following attributes of the candidate’s personality are also critically important:

• Ability and desire to continuously strive, learn, improve and deliver.
• Excellent attitude towards customers and co-workers when faced with rapidly changing requirements.
• Persistence when faced with difficulties and setbacks.
• Energy and enthusiasm.
